I am a 2011 MLA/NLM Spectrum Scholar coming into the library/information science field with a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Utah, and five years working as a Medical Technologist (MT). As much as I love being an MT, I realized I was missing something. It was a difficult decision to quit my job and move to Buffalo to attend the Library and Information Studies program at the University at Buffalo, but I know it was the right one.
I will be obtaining an ALA accredited MLS degree in February of 2013. Here is a detailed list of my Graduate courses.
Currently I work as a Graduate Reference Assisant at UB's Health Sciences Library
